List of Restricted Brands that Amazon Sellers Can't Sell
Over the past couple years, Amazon.com has expanding on a huge list of brands that new sellers cannot sell. When it first started selling on Amazon, this list was pretty small, but it has since expanded to very large list. It's a constant struggle for new sellers not knowing what they can sell, so I created this complete list of brands that are currently restricted. These restrictions wary heavy per brand, as some brands allow there items to be sold as used but not new. It's just that these brands such as Apple, have so much counterfeits, that Amazon and Brands Owners want them to get approval through the manufacturer.
Due to the many factors that decides if a item is restricted, it is a good idea to download the free, Amazon Seller App on your phone, so you can check directly with Amazon, if you are able to sell them. It's simple click on the scan button in the app, and will they if the item is restricted for your account. It's important to understand the restrictions vary from account to account, so if your friend can sell it, it doesn't mean you can.
Amazon doesn't have an official list currently, but I tried to include all brands that are currently known to be restricted. This list is constantly updated, so you should bookmark it and check back often.
